I’m Beth and I’m an author and perfumer.

I’ve written books about history, legends, and ghosts, and it’s obvious that my love of all things historical and spooky has had a heavy influence on my perfumery. Like many other perfumers, I truly believe that creating fragrances is simply another form of storytelling.

I’ve been creating perfumes for over 25 years. My nose was formally trained when I worked as a perfumer with Aveda in the 1990s. After several years of creating custom fragrances for Aveda clients, I began blending my own line of scents, and eventually launched my own company.

I continued my education in perfumery throughout that time and I now hold a Fragrance Expert certification from the Fragrance Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in 1949 with a mission to serve as a resource for industry expertise, innovation, and education.

All of the perfumes I create are crafted by hand from natural (organic when possible) ingredients and are packaged in recyclable materials. I am highly sensitive to most common allergens and irritants, and I blend my perfumes with other sensitive folks in mind.
