When I was still a hobbyist perfumer, I worked in an old bookshop. More often than not, as soon as a customer walked through the door, they would take a deep breath and comment on the shop’s wonderful aroma. The soft vanilla base, the woodsy heart, and a dry, smoky hint of leather in the scent of old books contain the magic to evoke memories of limitless stories and fairy tale endings.
The ghosts of aging wood pulp and the ripening binding materials of the books would slowly float into my clothes and hair during the day. Every evening when I returned home, my husband would pull me close and tell me how I smelled as lovely as a library. It was then that I knew I wanted to capture that fragrance in a bottle

This perfume contains pure essential oils and botanically-derived fragrance oils in a carrier of organic rice bran oil. It is 100% vegan, carefully crafted by hand, and it arrives in an amber glass bottle. 5ml bottles include a gift box. All of our product packaging is completely recyclable.
